Institute for the Study of Long-term Economic Trends (ISLET) in New York and London organize international colloquia in the origins of civilization’s early money and financial practices, economic account-keeping, real estate property and property ownership extending back to ancient Mesopotamia. In conjunction with the Peabody Museum three colloquia have been published.
