Just a thought on what the upcoming US deal with Iran will look like

            On June 12, Trump announced that Iran had agreed to the U.S. peace proposals, and his Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant explained that the proposed deal involved a total Iranian surrender capitulating to all U.S. demands to end its sovereignty over oil and indeed, its own finances and political autonomy.

            The first U.S. strategy is to cause a similar demand for reparations that bankrupted Germany and collapse Europe’s economy in the wake of World War I. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent wrote on X (formerly Twitter) his plans for what the United States would do after its conquered Iran and confiscated its oil production as it had done in Venezuela, depositing all oil export proceeds in a U.S. account. Trump earlier had suggested that half the proceeds would be used to pay the United States for the expense of the arms that it had used up in the process of conquering Iran, and the rest to its military allies in the region, presumably headed by Israel to compensate it for the damage caused by the combination of Iranian attacks and Hamas and Hizballah fighting back against Israeli genocide:

@SecScottBessent, June 11, 2026:

The Iranian regime will lose the zero-sum game it is playing.

Any damage it inflicts on our allies in the Gulf will be paid for with funds extracted from Iranian Accounts.

Any tolls paid to the Persian Gulf Strait Authority will be offset by funds extracted from their accounts.

Every attack Iran launches will only deepen the economic and financial consequences it faces.

Just noticing the trial baloons that are being floated.
